Christmas {2012}

Yet again, Christmas came and went so quickly. We had such a fun and amazing Christmas! This was our 3rd Christmas as a married couple, and it seems to get better each year! Our families spoil us like crazy and we are so grateful for all they do!

Christmas cheer!

Last weekend my friends and I did our annual Christmas dinner. We have been doing this for the past 8 years now! It is such a fun tradition and I feel so lucky to have such amazing friends! This year we decided to bring our "favorite things" for everyone instead of a gift exchange and it turned out to be so fun. We got some pretty cool things!

Top: H&M (sweater & green peplum)

I had fun getting in the Christmas spirit with my red and green! I always love dressing up for holiday parties!
Only one week until Christmas!! I am so not ready yet and still have some shopping to get done, however, I know that isn't the most important part so I'm not worrying too much!

Progressive Christmas dinner

I have been such a terrible blogger lately! Just when I thought I would have TONS of extra time to blog  being done with school and all...I have a million other things thrown on top of me. Why is it around the holidays things are always SO crazy!? I thought this holiday season would be nice and relaxing... Yeah. Right. {Wishful thinking Kallee!}
Anyway, last weekend my family and I did a progressive dinner as a new Christmas tradition we are going to do annually. My sister-in-law came up with the idea, and it turned out so fun! We started at my sister's house where we had hot chocolate and read a Christmas story. We then went to my brother's house where the kids did a fun Christmas craft. Following that, we headed over to my other brother's house and ate yummy chips and queso and played a couple Christmas games. Next, we had a big Christmas dinner at my parent's house, and then finished the night at my house with dessert! It was so fun to be able to see the Christmas decorations at everyones house! My family and I are very blessed to live so close to one another that we are able to do this!
My family is seriously the best and I am SO lucky to have such amazing people in my life!

My nieces and nephews LOVED the "blue room"{probably because they have never seen such thing before ha}. Yes this is my house, and yes it has blue carpet. It was my husband's grandma's old house, hence the blue carpet.
{Sorry this is not a fashion post, but I definitely wanted to share this fun tradition that maybe some of you can start with your family or friends!}

What are some of your favorite Christmas traditions!??

Let the Christmas fun begin!!

Yay I LOVE Christmas time! I am one of those crazy people that start listening to Christmas music in November because I think 1 month of it just isn't enough... I also put up my Christmas decorations BEFORE Thanksgiving too! With that being said, of course I try and fit in all of the Christmas festivities I can! Last weekend we fit in 2 of them. We went to Festival of Trees and Heritage Park. My husband's sister is in town with her 2 kids because they will not be able to be here for Christmas (her husband is in med school). So we have had so much fun being able to spend time with them! And this definitely won't be my last post about Christmas fun!

Top: F21 (denim)

Bottoms: Koo De Ker
Hat: Wilson's Leather

I forgot to take pictures until the end of the night, so they were in the dark :(
Also, have you ever noticed how much I wear hats!? I think it is safe to say I am sort of obsessed. I fell in love with this leather hat that I found during black Friday!
Have a great day everyone!
