Last weekend I finally had the chance to go out to dinner with my husband and enjoy the night together! Between me being sick everyday {that's what it feels like anyway} and him being so busy with work and studying for the MCAT, we never get nights/weekends together!! It was so nice to get out and forget about all our busy crap!

This is my Valentine's day look, very simple. Yes, I know I am not supporting the pink or red. (remember I told you I have been obsessed with black and white!) I am however, supporting my heart shaped sunglasses! 

Also, I wanted to share with you the other thing I have been searching for.... a leather skirt! I have been dying to find a cute leather skirt and I found one just in time to wear for a fun night out!

Boyfriend jeans

Yes, I realize I have been completely MIA. I did not realize how busy I would be this semester! It has been so crazy!! I haven't had one second to even touch my blog and it makes me so sad because I love blogging. I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things, but we will see how well I can do!

Anyway, I have been on a search for a couple of things. The first thing I have been searching high and low for is a cute pair of boyfriend jeans! I Finally found a pair that fits just right. They are actually Lauren Conrad jeans from Kohls and I LOVE them! They are so comfortable and can be worn in so many ways! I can't wait to create different looks with them. 

You will find out the other thing I have been on a search for this Thursday! 

It is also Valentine's week! I am so excited and for the first time in about 5 years, I actually get to celebrate Valentines with my husband on ACTUAL Valentine's day (we are always working or at school) so I am looking forward to Thursday!

Dark floral

Remember a few post back how I told you I was obsessed with these 10 dollar dresses, and that I bought a couple of them? Well, this would be another! I loved the dark floral look of this dress, and I think it is pretty fitting for the season! As much as I love winter fashion, it gets old quickly and  I am ready to move on over to spring! Too bad it keeps snowing every. Single. Day. At the rate we are going, winter will be here for awhile :(

Every year I totally take advantage of winter sales. It is pretty nice because stores start putting all their winter clothes on sale in January, however, where I live you pretty much wear winter clothes up until March and April. Forever 21 did a huge sale last week where you could take an additional 50% off all their sale items. Therefore, I got sweaters that were normally 25-30 dollars for 5 bucks! I also got these shoes for 5 dollars, which were originally around 30. This is exciting news when you are on a budget! So here is one of the sweaters I snatched along with these cute burgundy shoes {that I will also be wearing come spring and summer!} 

 I also tried out a new lipstick, it is Revlon's "black cherry", what do you think?? I can't decide if I love it or not!

On the go casual

The good news is, I survived my first week of clinicals... the bad news is, I feel like I have NO life! I get a big fat F for blogging {good thing my blogging grade doesn't count!}. Oh well, it's a new week, and I am going to try to be better! 

Nothing sounds better these days, than to throw on a beanie and be casual. Probably because I feel like I am on the go all day every day, so dressing up is the last thing I feel like ever doing!

I am hoping this week isn't as crazy as my last, but I guess we will find out!

Neon in the cold

I totally felt like a snow bunny in this outfit. I guess it is fitting for all the S.N.O.W we have that is N.E.V.E.R going to melt because it is freezing! 

I am loving this new velvet head wrap that I found at F21! I have been eyeing a few velvet pieces that I think need to be in my closet already! 

Does anyone else hate the second week of January?? Ugh I hate it so much.  All the fun holidays are over, nothing to look forward to for awhile, school starts again, and it's still winter! I hope these next few months go by super fast because I am so ready for another break and summer!
