Progressive Christmas dinner

I have been such a terrible blogger lately! Just when I thought I would have TONS of extra time to blog  being done with school and all...I have a million other things thrown on top of me. Why is it around the holidays things are always SO crazy!? I thought this holiday season would be nice and relaxing... Yeah. Right. {Wishful thinking Kallee!}
Anyway, last weekend my family and I did a progressive dinner as a new Christmas tradition we are going to do annually. My sister-in-law came up with the idea, and it turned out so fun! We started at my sister's house where we had hot chocolate and read a Christmas story. We then went to my brother's house where the kids did a fun Christmas craft. Following that, we headed over to my other brother's house and ate yummy chips and queso and played a couple Christmas games. Next, we had a big Christmas dinner at my parent's house, and then finished the night at my house with dessert! It was so fun to be able to see the Christmas decorations at everyones house! My family and I are very blessed to live so close to one another that we are able to do this!
My family is seriously the best and I am SO lucky to have such amazing people in my life!

My nieces and nephews LOVED the "blue room"{probably because they have never seen such thing before ha}. Yes this is my house, and yes it has blue carpet. It was my husband's grandma's old house, hence the blue carpet.
{Sorry this is not a fashion post, but I definitely wanted to share this fun tradition that maybe some of you can start with your family or friends!}

What are some of your favorite Christmas traditions!??

So cute :) I felt the same way when I graduated! And everyone in school thinks you have all this free time to do whatever you want...wrong! I love your new (?) blog design, I need to get mine revamped, who did it?

I love that tradition! I live pretty far away from most of my family, I wish we could do this. It sounds so fun!

You have such a fun looking family and the progressive dinner sounds really good idea! I wish my family lived so close, some live in Austria (I am in England), some live in Bahrain and the ones that do live in England all live at least 60 miles away from us apart from my Mum who only lives about 5 miles away from me :-)

I like how happy the kids look
